The task

QIAGEN came to us with the request to help them with the "Project Atlas", the relaunch of their corporate website.

QIAGEN's new corporate site was designed to present the company as the modern biotech company that provides high-quality solutions to current problems and world affairs in research. The site character of the website was to provide a clear structure by topic and relevance through the various hierarchical levels. Overall, the site should provide users with easy access to the solutions and the products and success stories behind them. In addition, the target group should be able to find the respective product and thus lead generation quickly and easily.

The tricky thing

Within one year, all needs of the individual stakeholders of the respective business areas were to be considered and the final designs were to be handed over to the customer's internal project team.

Workshops & concept

Our proposal was based on the values developed in several workshops in Germany and Poland with QIAGEN's project management and internal development team.

Wireframes

Over the course of a year, various rounds were held with stakeholders from the various business areas in which, in close consultation with the help of wireframes, the needs were surveyed and checked against the resulting design proposals.

Design process

During the design process we focused on a comprehensive information and service product. The modern design and the clearly structured platform support the successful development of the company in the future.

In addition, the site should provide a lot of practical and useful information for the potential target group online. And last but not least, the new site should promote and increase sales of the products offered.
